We are going home!!!

Yesterday we transitioned to the Ronald McDonald House. Kacie still had the feeding tube in. Grandpa & Grandma Talbot brought Great Grandma Phillis and Brady over. They got here just in time for a wonderful spaghetti feed. Kacie ate better than she had in a long time. Brady got to spend the night with us. We really enjoyed having him here. We went to see Dr. Jenkins today and when he heard how well she has been eating he didn't hesitate at all about getting the tube out. Kacie was a little scared but he assured her that she was only going to get better. Kacie didn't even flinch when he took it out. We have to see Dr. Jenkins in his clinic every other week for awhile and he wants to see Brady one more time. We love Dr. Jenkins, he is a great guy and really has Kacie's best interest at heart. We now have his cell phone and will be talking to him daily for about a week.

Now for the list of medications that Kacie will be on: Tums, Iron, Epogen (shot once a week), Nephrovit, Calcitrol, Amlodipine, Atenolol, Clonidine patch, Peri-Colace, Previacid, Lisinopril, Raglan, Nasonex, Nystatin, and Nicardipine, Zofran and Ambien if needed. I've had to plug them all in my phone so we don't forget to give them.

Was able to deliver all the feeding tube supplies back to Norco and he was nice enough to not charge us for it since we only needed it one night.

We are looking forward to seeing the Laurels later tonight and enjoying our last night in Boise. We will be going home on our two month mark. We have to stop in Nampa at 2:00 for more training with Mary and for the Epogen shot then we are headed for home sweet home.
