Today started out with high hopes. Kacie peed 270 cc's and Brady seemed restless and anxious to go home and then both kids headed on a downward ride. Last night we thought Brady was going to get to go home today, but his platelet count went from 200 something down to 40 something. The doctor is not sure why. They are going to reconnect him to the IV and keep him here again for more observation.
This afternoon Kacie started to buff up again and has been very sick to her stomach. They are increasing the dialysis and limiting her IV drip and liquid intake to let her kidneys catch up. We hope that this is a small dip downward and that tomorrow our roller-coaster ride will be on the way back up. Tammy is actually going to go home tonight for a much needed break and Grandma Joan and Grandma Sue are going to keep watch.

Tammy, enjoy being home! It's really great to have grandmas around that are so willing to help! You need the break and I think of you often each day about what you are enduring! Take Care

How wonderful for Joan to step in to help for a break for you! Brandon will love having you at home I'm sure! And Grandma's love feeling needed in any way possible...something to remember.
