A GOOD SABBATH

BRADY's blood work is headed in the right direction. His BUN today was 110 (avg. 8 - 18) and his creatinine was 5.7 (avg. 0.5 - 1.1). He is starting on the healing side and so was moved out of ICU into a regular room. We were hopeful that the kids' rooms could be closer together, but because Brady is still in isolation he couldn't be in the same wing as Kacie. He is trying to adjust to the dialysis. It seems that when the kids start on it they get sick to their tummy's.A cute example of Brady hiding from doctors and nurses is demonstrated in this picture. He really is in there. You might have to blow this one up to see his head. :o)

KACIE's blood work is continuing to improve. Her BUN is 56 and her creatinine is 7.6. She has gone two full days without vomiting. We got a four hour pass out of the hospital and she went to her cousins house in Star, Idaho and enjoyed a nice meal, sat outside on the patio, played games, and visited while Kevin entertained us on the guitar. Scott and Brandon met us there. We missed Brady not being with us, but hopefully soon we can all be home together again. When we got back she peed 300 cc. We are anxious for the day when that becomes more frequent throughout the day.
Lood at those smiles.
Dr. Christensen gave Kacie the 4 hour pass out of the hospital.

Tammy!
Every sunday that I go to curch and I don't see you there, I am thinking of you! What a battle! Things are sounding positive and going in the right direction! Sickness is still hitting our home. Sage and Noah got sick at church, so we haven't been back to visit...figured you wouldn't want us to share! We miss you and hope things continue going well!

Tammy, Let us know how you feel about getting home canned items....Lori, Maria, Becky & I canned a lot of sweet & sour sauce. We'd love to give you some if you like that kind of thing. We're not offended if you'd rather not introduce those things for awhile. Let us know how you feel about it. So glad Kacie looks her old self again and is smiling. What a fun outing to Star for all of you! Love, Barbara

We LOVE the photo of Brady hiding under his bear, probably every patient at the hospital feels like that sometimes! What a cutie! We pray that things will continue to go well! We are glad Brady is out of ICU and Kacie was able to hang out with family! We love you all tons! Give Brandon a hug for us!
