Last night we were all excited because Kacie peed again (150cc). Tonight the doctor wants to increase her oral diet. He is adding more foods and wants her eating small amounts all throughout the day. He also wants her drinking lots and lots of water. We found out today that Gatorade and Powerade are too high in sodium. Kacie is sad because her favorite drink right now was blue Powerade. She did awesome in her physical therapy. She was able to shoot lots of baskets standing up and really impressed her therapist on how much she has improved since last Friday. She had an ultra-sound today to check the blood flow through her kidneys and everything looked OK. Her blood work continues to slowly improve.

Brady is feeling much better, he had pizza for breakfast and pancakes for dinner. He has really given the nurses a run for their money. Today he managed to chew a whole in his IV tubing. When they enter the room he tries to hide under his blankets but once he knows they won't bother him then he waves bye bye and blows them a kiss. He is also challenging his adult care-givers to come up with enough things to keep him busy and still keep him in bed. Grandma Joan is staying with him tonight while Mom takes the Kacie shift. Dad (Scott) is home supporting Brandon and preparing to teach school. With both kids in the hospital in separate rooms it takes three people here so that someone is in the kid's room all the time, and the other one acts as the go-fer.

Thanks to everyone once again for your visits and comments. We read each one and make sure Kacie, Brady, and Brandon know of your love. While we are in Boise we really miss Brandon. If you get a chance you might give him a call and just visit with him. He is feeling pretty lost with both Kacie and Brady in Boise.

We are praying and check this blog everyday! Thinking of both Kacie and Brady and also of all the family helping out! We have sickness at our home so we are not wanting to share, so we are staying away!
