Had to get up and leave by 8:00 this morning to go do lab work and see Dr. Jenkins. Kacie's blood pressure was extremely low this morning so we discontinued her Amlodopine and reduced her Clonidine patch back to one. Her Phosphorus was up so they cut that pill to once a day. Her Prograf levels are not high enough yet so they increased that to 4mg three times a day. Her creatinine was .62 which is about the same and her red blood cells are starting to rebound from all the blood she lost from surgery. She was very fortunate to not need a transfusion. Dr. Jenkins was impressed that Kacie took initiative regarding her medications.

Valeda and Melissa stopped by on their way from Seattle and we had a good visit with them. We all took a good nap and Kacie is now watching TV and doing some needlework. Overall it has been a good day. Kacie's only complaint is having to pee all the time now:)

We are so excited for you guys. Kacie looks so good, it is amazing how it has all worked out for the best. It reminded me of your lesson a couple Sundays ago. We really just dont know what his plan is. We are so glad that Kacie can now move forward with her life and continue to get better. If you need us to do anything back at home let us know. I am so glad to hear that her blood pressure is lower! I hope the rest of her levels continue to even out! I'm so grateful that things are going well. I am glad you ALL got to take a nap today! I bet it's nice to have a quiet room and not hear all the beeping sounds from the hospital!
