UPDATE: August 24 9:30 pm

Today has had its ups and downs. Her pancreas count has been all over the place. Consequently the nurse said that she's having problems with her blood sugars. They are giving her 5 units of insulin tonight. (The blood sugars are a result of her damaged pancreas.) Another problem is that she's spiked a fever (102). They are culturing her blood to make sure there's no bad blood infection.

The good news is that about 5:00 she produced about a tsp of urine. Her day nurse didn't seem too excited, but we sure were. Then about 8:30 tonight she showed more signs of producing urine and so they ultra sound her bladder and it showed 300 ml of urine. Kacie's evening nurse was really cute and excited. We just hope and pray that this continues.

The best news of all was when John & Debbie McCune brought Elder Yoshihiko Kikuchi and his wife to come for a visit. John is the Stake President of the Caldwell Stake and Elder Kikuchi was the visiting authority for their stake. Elder Kiuchi gave her such a sweet blessing. The spirit was so strong and powerfully tender. To say the least there were many tears in the room.
