Disney World Day Two (12/17/10)

Today we spent another magical day at Disney World but this time at Hollywood Studios. First we saw the Muppet's in 3D and the Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show, which was very cool. Then we had lunch, saw part of a parade and rode the Twilight Tower of Terror and the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.

The stunt show had Herbie and showed how they split the car in two. Brady is pictured with one half. Brady loved Toy Story in 4D. We did it a couple of times.

The Rock 'n' Roller Coaster was awesome! Kacie & Jocie got some cute guitar pick earrings that said Rock 'n' Roller coaster on them. Since we have been back and Kacie has had time to think about it, she said this was her favorite. But it is really hard to pick just one.

Waiting for the Hollywood Tower of Terror!

Stacie and I happened to run in to this nice lady who noticed our Make A Wish buttons and she set it up so Kacie could flip the switch for all the Christmas lights (aprox. 9 million). She went on the stage with all the other kids and myself. It was a really neat experience and it was hard to hold back the tears. After they were lite, there was music choreographed to the lights.

In the evening we saw an awesome show called Fantasmic. There were lasers, fireworks, all the Disney princesses, many different Disney characters, villains and of course Mickey!

After the show we decided to ride the Tower of Terror one more time and we got literally stuck up in the Tower. While we were waiting for the maintenance to come let us out Stacie got out her camcorder and started interviewing people on how it felt to be stuck on the Tower of Terror. It was hilarious. We then took a real elevator down. They asked if we still wanted to ride and of course we did. We think they took us on a couple of extra drops to make up for us being stuck. This day was one of our favorites.

The "Spectacle of the Dancing Lights" is such a fantastic memory. It was hard to choke back tears of gratitude as I reflected about how far Kacie has come. Once again, thank you for allowing us to be part of the joy you felt on this trip! I'm sure we'll all reflect upon these memories for many years to come! Love you!
